New Website & New Blog

Ok so I (and mostly my boyfriend the computer wiz) have been so busy lately working on my new website and blog. I am now pleased to announce that is done! Yey, I’m so excited, and hope that everyone likes it. My old site will still be up to re-direct you, don’t you worry.
I really struggled with the whole re-branding issue, but in the end I thought it was best to go with the change. I have been tinkering with the idea for a while now; the importance of using my name as a brand to represent my work to clients. In the end I thought “what better name to represent my brand and style than my own” so I won in the end. He he he

Change is upon us.

Or change is just upon me and my websites.
First of all, Happy New Year to everyone! I think good things are going to happen this year, even though I had a rough start to the year, I believe! So I’m working on some exciting changes for my website and blog, so please be patient with me…its coming.

Also, I will be returning to Saskatoon in the summer for some fabulous weddings, June 23rd – July 11th. If you are interested in booking a session with me, just fire me an email or give me a call. I will only be booking a limited number of sessions due to my short visit and the fact that I have soo many people to visit! Can’t wait.

I’ve been a bad blogger…

So I have been a terrible blogger lately, well ok for quite a while now.

In late August my boyfriend and I moved to Vancouver, BC and my life has just been turned upside down and all around, in a very good way though! We are really loving it in Vancouver, but it is taking a little time and effort to get my business up and running again.  I miss all my Saskatoon clients. I have also entered the crazy world of film, as in lights, camera, action! Vancouver is known as HollyNorth, and its true. I’ve been fortunate enough to already work on a number of great film sets and I can’t wait for more. Anyways things are good and I vow to be a better blogger.

So now that I’ve mentioned that I have moved, I’ll mention when I am returning to Saskatoon,lol. I will be back in Saskatoon for Christmas Holidays and am taking bookings for Dec 27th-30th. A ‘Just’ Wedding

Congratulations to some of my best friends, Natasha and Keli Just.

They had a beautiful ceremony in Manitou Beach, SK on August 20th.  All the details were ‘just’ perfect for their Eco-friendly wedding, from the invitations printed on recycled paper to the hand-stitched center-pieces that are being made into a quilt for the lovely couple, they were perfect and so totally Tosh and Keli.

I wish you both best wishes for much happiness in the future. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day.

Congratulations to this wonderful couple.

Tracy and Dustin tied the knot on August 8th, 2009.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Willows in Saskatoon, SK.
It was a beautiful day filled with family and friends, I almost cried during her dad’s speech!

My trip to South Africa

Ok so its been a while since I’ve updated my blog, and I promise its not just pure neglect.

During the month of March, I have been on a crazy amazing trip in South Africa. It seemed like a great time to go. My boyfriend had just finished his Masters in Computer Science ( 2 days prior to us leaving!) and I think we all need a break from time to time. Travelling to South Africa together has always been something we wanted to do. I was very fortunate to have been raised for a large part of my life in Cape Town, South Africa and it was about time that Brennan was able to come with me.

Our trip was so much fun, and I encourage anyone that has been thinking about going to South Africa to pack your bags and jump on a plane. We were so fortunate to stay with some great friends and do some great sight-seeing. Everything from seeing one of the new soccer stadiums for FIFA 2010 being built, meeting up with old friends, to going on Safari Game Drives. I have so many photos and hrs of video.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

These girls were so much fun! They let me boss them around inside the studio and out.

These beautiful girls are high school seniors, I know can you believe it!  I can’t believe time is going by so fast, it makes me think back to my final year and all the excitement for the future. – ok enough of me reminiscing. 

These girls are gorgeous, smart and so much fun. I wish them the best of luck for whichever direction life takes them next year.
